A lot of tenants bad mouth the dirty property and indisciplined tenants. Here are a few of the latest pictures from building C at the Heights at Lenox.

Believe it or not. This is not a dumspter of a trash compartment. This is a picture of the stairway of building C. where unexplained and abandoned trash items continue to rot even as mangement continues to lease apartments to dirty, uncivilized, shady characters who make this place the ghetto of Buckead.

This is the staircase of building C where people use it as an alternative dumpster. Above, you see a Checker's sandwich abandoned next to paper trash. Also visible are the stairs which have not been cleaned in years and harbor filth, bacteria. This is a clear health code violation. Call the Atlanta health inspector and talk to the property about the unhealthy living conditions.

This is a common sight in the stairway of building C. A vandalized and dispalced fire extinguisher sits on the floor next to a Wendy's soda cup thrown as trash by another "I don't care" tenant. Most current tenants who do this are known to gangster rapper type African Americans who even visibly look dangerous to fellow tenants. What's most striking is that this picture was taken in October 2006 and the stairs are still in the same condition. Indeed, the stairs have not been washed/cleaned in 2 years! On Friday night they stink of urine. Take a walk around and you will see.

Even with the facility of a trash cute, a tenant leaves trash bags OUTSIDE. Who cares? The attendant will come and put it in the trash chute tomorrow. That's the attitude of the people who live here. Such behavior has allowed billions of roaches to make their home here.

Enough is Enough

The Heights at Lenox, an apartment community in Buckhead, Atlanta ( 3200 Lenox Rd. 30324, Atlanta, GA. 30324) is a huge community with 6 apartment buildings. For the past several years this place has been synonymous with Ghetto. It has been bought and sold every 3-4 years but the place has continued to be the most unlivable place in this area. Also called the "Ghetto of Buckhead", the management changes its name every few years to hide the crime rate and bad ratings inside the property. It is dirty, filthy, loud, roach infested, old complex where your neighbors could be felons.

One can always argue that its easy to bad mouth a property on apartment ratings web sites. So to make a case, we have created this blog to share real pictures, videos and updates on the sorry state of this property. Following is a summary of the complex. This is based on first hand experience. After getting tired of paying high rent and still living in dirty buildings we decided to create this blog and show the world (and to the ignorant management) what they don't see from outside.

A summary of what you will expect if you live here is given below. These are not exceptions. You see this EVERYDAY. You will see latest pictures of these dirty surroundings on this blog.


1. The apartments are infested with roaches.

2. There are law abiding people living here but 10-20% of the tenants here are Gangster rapper type African Americans who visibly vandalize the property, play loud music, use the elevator to dispose their trash and make life hell for the remaining tenants.

3. Profane graffiti on walls and elevator all the time. As soon as the management paints over the elevator, these gangsters write graffiti on it.

4. Stairways are used as convenient restrooms. The elevator breaks down once every 3 weeks (we have records) and you cannot use the stairs without stopping to breathe. Every single day we see fast food wrappers, soda cups and cigarette packets in the elevator. Many people just trash these things in the stairways. On Satutrday nights we have seen party animals pee in the stairs.

5. The apartment has a trash chute where one can dispose trash bags even from the 4th floor. In spite of this, some dumb tenants leave the trash bags outside the chute and that makes all the hallways stink. They don't care about others because they have been raised in broken families and haven't had a decent education.

6. The entry and exit gates are supposed to be restricted by an access code. However every week either the entry and/or the exit gates are just left open to draw in more criminals.

7. The property has a very high crime rate. The multiple murderer Brian Nichols who shot an Atlanta judge and 3 others spent the night here the day it happened. He even assaulted some tenants in one of the buildings while he was on the run.

8. In Spring of 2006, there was a murder on property due to drug dealings.

10. There have been several incidences of apartment break- ins and theft of laptops, wallets and precious jewelry in broad daylight. In 100% of the cases reported, the criminals were Black.

11. We know at least 4 people in our friends' circle who have been mugged at gunpoint or knifepoint. One occured next to the swimming pool, another inside building A and 2 outside building C. The management does not care about this since the doors are still left open for anyone to come inside and the 24 hours security person is a joke. Even the Atlanta police consider it a routine to be called here every weekend.

12. There is no emergency service here. One of the tenants in building D called the emergency number after noticing that her bathroom water was leaking. Even after leaving urgent messages multiple times, (they don't have a person to talk to, you have to leave a phone message), the management did not clear the service request until the next day.

13. There are umpteen tenants here who will make loud noises in the corridors in the middle of the night, not caring about neighbors sleeping. Most, if not all these noisemakers are Black. This may sound racist but this is true and from out own experience. If you live here, you already would agree with these statements. Not all Black residents are bad, we know many who are very nice. But unfortunately one has to mention that the tenants responsible for the scum here are Black.

14. We have never so many tenants smoke inside the property. It is a common sight to see some (Black again) tenants smoke in the entrance lobby of the building, not caring about others.

The best way to deal with this is to restrict the scum of our scoiety from living here. We all know what people we are referring to. However a simple background criminal check does not help since tenants have roommates.

You will see this blog being updated with pictures of the sorry state of these places. if you thought this place was good because its in Buckhead, look again. Since the property is close to MARTA train, a lot of blue collar, minimum wage scumbags live here and will do anything to you out of desperation.
