New Name, Same Shit - The Metropolitan at Lenox.
The Heights at Lenox is changing its name to "The Metropolitan at Lenox". This is the 3rd name change in 5 years. The name change is another attempt to hide and disguise the pathetic living conditions on the property. The quality of life at the Metropolitan at Lenox continues to deteriorate. The management constructed a new office, with a business center and a fitness center in July but its all LIPSTICK. Here's why (July 2008)
The overall complex continues to be a dirty, smelly and rotten place. Its is still commonplace to see trash left inside the elevator by illiterate tenants. The stairs are full of stink. People urinate in the stairs after parties at nights. Do not be fooled by the decrated office. Ask for a property tour and insisit on taking the stairs and not the elevator. As per the countless number of e-mails we receive from tenants, Buildings E and C are the worst. Living conditions are similar to being in a slum. Don't even think about renting here if you can afford a place elsewhere. The corridors inside the buildings are often full of trash, left to rot , right in the middle!

THIS IS NOT A LIE.....these apartments have become a slum right before my eyes...I live there....and it is like pulling teeth to get management to fix shit around this dump....you come home to kids running up and down the hall like they are crazy...trash everywhere...folks standing around like gang members or a tribe or something....it's crazy....they should just bull doze these projects over and let the woods grow back....it sure would look better....

I agree the named changed but some things stay the same. The Metropollitan at Buckhead (aka The Heights at Lenox). I am a former tenant who left just short of one year. The roaches took over my apartment. I lived in the F Building (the same building as the leasing office) they hallway was rarely cleaned it smells and there is urine, spit, vomit, trash and other disgusting things I could not identify. I can imagine what the other stairways look like. The bathroom ceiling paint started to chip after one month. I moved in with no closet doors. They took their sweet time installing them and then they fell apart after 2 months of just normal use. I fixed them and then they fell apart again. The roaches..ah the roaches any tenant past and present will tell you they are horrible they literally take over. My car was hit in the parking lot. I could go on and on about the deplorable conditions. My husband and I were question by the police 2 weeks ago about two armed robberies, one in the parking lot and the other inside their apartment and this was building F. Glad we got out of that gangstas paradise.

This web site has been very helpful I thought it was just me and my family who knew things wasn't ran right every post I have read is telling the truth the cockroaches are bad and noyhing can be down about it but tear the building down..

It's a shame that this place has become what it has. I lived there when it was Lenox Forest and 2 years after it became Summit At Lenox. They had a housekeeping staff that kept the halls clean and kept the grounds pretty decent, though not the standards of most Buckhead Apts. My only real complaint was the amount of power outages and the fact that they control the heating and a/c levels (they gave us a false sense of control with thermostats in each unit) I also had a massive amount of objects stolen from my storage unit prior to moving out. Management got really shoddy around the time they decided to move the office to a different building and turn the old one into a fitness center. I'd have considered moving back but after reading recent reviews, I'll never go back.

Just to show how bad the maintenance is : I live in bldg E, and about two weeks ago there was a leak from our air-conditioning into my bedroom over my closet. It was so bad that the dry-wall came off my ceiling. We had been complaining about the leaking air-conditioning for 1 year, and they never fixed it so this is the result. Not only did this happen in the middle of the night and soaked all of my clothes and ruined some personal items, but its been TWO weeks and there still a big, fat HOLE in my ceiling. I complain every single day, and nothing has been done....

I agree I just moved back here and I swear its like living in a third world country people don't watch their kids and they are destorying the place as soon as they remodel it, people don't have respect for one another, blasting music all time of nite, the roaches have taken over amoung other things. I could go on and on about this place but you get my point. Ps this shit should be in bankhead not buckhead.
